SAMMY started out playing at open mics in her hometown of Orillia, ON. She developed a love for blues, folk, and country music, as well as sharing the stage with other local artists. She has gone on to write songs of her own, using her old-school influences as inspiration. She loves to share emotions through song and connect with her audience on a deeper level.
She has played many local venues around Simcoe County such as The Brownstone, Flying Monkeys Craft Brewery, and The Bracebridge Hall. She has also been on the lineup for festivals such as Roots North Festival and Songwriter Series Virtual Festival, which featured Serena Ryder as its headliner.
She hopes to continue her writing process in order to create a meaningful experience for listeners and release more material in the near future. SAMMY is committed to creating an immersive experience through her music by creating an aesthetic that enhances the experience.
