Mike Bailey is a Fine Art Photographer and owner of A Shoebox of Memories. Growing up in Muskoka and now residing in Severn, Ontario, he is no stranger to the arts. He is a self-taught photographer of over 20 years and loves sharing his photographic art and stories. Mike has also been involved with local artist groups and galleries for over 10 years. He is a past president of the Orillia and District Camera Club and has served on the Executive Boards for Orillia Fine Arts Association, Orillia District Arts Council, and currently on the Executive with the Images Studio Tour. During his winter season in Arizona, Mike facilitates a weekly camera club meeting of over 60 members instructing and coordinating workshops and outings.
Mike’s photographic art leans towards landscapes but he also enjoys working with nature, still life and macro photography to create beautiful and artistic prints on canvas and fine art papers. Wanting to be in control of his work from start to finish, Mike uses archival papers and inks doing all his own canvas stretching and custom framing both for himself and others to deliver top quality work.
Mike loves to be creative, help others evolve and do presentations. Feel free to contact him anytime
