Lesley has been an artist in the Orillia area for over thirty years. She has exhibited in galleries and art shows from Orillia to Toronto, including at the University of Toronto Trinity College Art Show and at the internationally renowned Joseph D. Carrier Gallery.
In 2005, her work from the Carrier was featured on Radio Canada's 'Les Arts et les Autres.'
In 2006, her solo art show at Orillia's Gallery 7 was sponsored by the Ontario Arts Council.
In 2007 , Lesley's painting of a saxophonist became the poster for the Orillia Jazz Festival.
In 2023, her watercolour, 'Meditation on Light' was selected as the poster for the Orillia International Women's Day Art Show.
While she has worked in a number of mediums, she prefers the delicacy of pencil drawing and watercolour. She is currently studying botanical photorealism with British artist and author, Anna Mason.
