In high school I was in the Vocational arts program. Dreaming one day of becoming a famous artist. I studied and taught Antique Rug Hooking, stained glass art and ceramics. I worked in charcoal media and also pen and ink.
My camera became my best friend everywhere I went, it went. Photographs are my inspiration for my art. Using canvas and acrylic paint or water colours to create art. On acid etched glass you can create beautiful pieces of art with special pencils and acrylic paint. With graphic arts, computer skills and printing skills you can use your photos to make interesting and original art.
I enjoy Theatre Arts, Music, Dancing, gardening, and sports, everything Canadian. I was a gymnastics coach and ran the Recreational program at Oshawa Gemini Gymnastics. Recreational programs supplied the funds to pay for our coaches for the National Program. In 1988 and 1992 I attended the Summer Olympics in Korea and Spain, respectively. We travelled to Rotterdam (1987), Stuttgart (1991), Indianapolis (1992) to attend the World Gymnastics Championships.
