John Swartz, member of the 6 time Drum Corps Associates World Champion CADRE Percussion Ensemble of Toronto, will teach interested passers-by how to learn and perform a groove on buckets.
Join us at The Meeting Place 28 West Street North every Friday from noon to 4 pm to indulge your creative side by colouring, painting, drawing, singing.
The Orillia & District Arts Council has collaborated with City of Orillia Business Development, Culture and Tourism, the Orillia Centre for Arts & Culture and Titanium Arts Lab to feature a community dance class while observing COVID protocols.
Welcome to "Road Trip to Mariposa', our outdoor Streets Alive public art display of "Hippie van' sculptures by 27 talented artists! The hippie vans celebrate the 60th anniversary of our Mariposa Folk Festival and all the joy it represents.
It's been a tough 18 months and everyone needs hope and a reason to smile. Information Orillia for the remainder of 2021 will be focusing on our Youth. We not only want to be a place of safety and support; but are looking to showcase artwork created by our young people depicting 'What Community Means to Me'. After Culture Days, the artwork will be available for sale. A great opportunity to find an Emerging Artist!
