Kelsey is an individual who has been working with marginalized communities within the non-profit sector for over a decade across Ontario, and it have given her the opportunity to have a strong understanding of community trends, social impacts and the emerging issues within the non-profit sector.
Kelsey has always had a passion for art, as she comes from a family of artists. As an artist with a big heart, notably being called 'spirited', she is always excited to take on new projects and to work with clients from all walks of life. Her abilities range from designing logos to creating beautiful murals, 3D structural paintings, prints, stickers, and more. She believes that art has the ability to communicate powerful messages which is why she takes pride in creating meaningful and thought-provoking designs. Whether it's a black and white illustrations or a coloruful mural, Kelsey always keep the audience and the design in mind.
Now, as a board member within ODAC, she gets to combine her two passions, supporting the community and making sure art is shared with the community. Art can be anyones gateway to truths, understanding, emotions and much more. Kelsey believes that art should be accessible to everyone, and that everyone is artistic if given the opportunity and safe container to explore.
